Dental bone grafting, or transplanting of bone tissue, is done to restore the jaw to its previous form following tooth loss, gum disease or other various forms of trauma. Bone grafting may also be used to maintain bone structure after tooth extraction, or for growing bone around an implanted device. This procedure can be carried out by using bone from the patient or other bone substitute materials. Starting at $180 (per teeth) this treatment generally lasts 45-90 minutes, offering a relatively quick fix with minimum pain and lifelong results.
